Thousands Protest Bush Administration's Stance On War

Thousands of Chicagoans gathered Saturday at Union Square Park to represent the city in a mass mobilization in hope that it will send the message to the Bush administration that Americans want an end to the war in Iraq and our troops home.

Similar protests took place simultaneously across the county in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, New York City, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Boston, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Chattanooga and Jonesborough (Tenn.), Salt Lake City, Denver, South Dakota, Rochester and elsewhere to voice their dissent.
